The Dingle Saga Continues

Well, last night I got an amazing 6 hours of sleep. Now I know it doesn't sound like much, but it is the most I got so far. We only have class until 1:00 today so my plan is to do a little shopping and a load of laundry. The machine is both a washer and dryer. Therefore you can't do much at a time. Additionally, it seems like it only holds 4 articles of clothing at a time. Yesterday, I walked deep into the mountians. I meen deep. No path, no trail, just me and the sheep. I have some great pictures that I can't wait to share. I really hope that they came out. Also, I am still frustrated with my roomate situation. I think something new is growing on the bathroom. Yuck. The cottages are nice, but the roomates are really dirty. I have class starting now. Love you all and am looking forward to your comments.

Sounds like jetlag is finally letting up, is the rain too? Did you go hiking alone? Sounds like it is beauiful there - enjoy as you will probably never pass there again. Everything here is good except the weather - it is still quite cool. Well, study hard and sleep when you can. Look forward to your messages everyday. Love you.

HELLO JONATHAN...

I have tried numerous times to send a comment...stupid me can't seem to get it! I will try again here...

I am glad you arrived safely...however, I wish the "living" and "study" situation was better. You may have to bend a little on your habits, and just try and enjoy the moment. This is an experience of a lifetime...don't let the small things get in the way.

Wow, walking through the mountains in Dingle...I am sure it was beautiful and I can't wait to see the pics. Again, what an experience for a young man to enjoy!

Everything here is going fine...they started our addition...we have a BIG whole in our backyard. Hopefully soon they will be pouring the concrete.

Miss you and love you more than you know...Love,
Wendy

Hi Jonathan,

Well, it is Saturday morning here and I am thinking of you. I hope the weekend is proving to be an improvement over your week and that you have had some time to rest, study and still see some of Dingle. I am looking forward to seeing your pictures and hearing all about your adventure. This weekend Logan has a baseball tournament, Steve is off fishing with Greg Martin and Aunt Lorri and Linnea are going to a card making party. Everyone here is well, and things are moving along on the Couture’s remodel (the basement is dug and the footings are poured, and Tuesday they start replacing windows in the old house.) They will probably be moving into grandma’s house very soon. Grandma had a busy week out and about and is having the chef tonight with all her company so she is looking forward to that. I am doing fine it is very busy at work now as we have all our back to school stuff going on, so I have been working 10 hour days (not much compared to yours but long for this Old Lady. I have written long enough now and tried to catch you up on everything here. So, that’s my update. Things here are GOOD and I hope they will be GREAT in Dingle in the up coming week. I love you. Stay safe, study hard and have fun. I will write soon,

Love,

Mom

Hi Jonathan,

I hope you will have time to see more of the countryside, it is truly a beautiful place. I can't wait to see your pictures.
Just remember that it is not forever with those roommates and you will be home again. It is really hard to first deal with people you don't know, but then have to room with them. I know I did it for one whole year at Purdue. I can relate spend time away from your cottage when you can and hopefully it will get better. Also say something to them if it really bothers you.
Grandma had the Muellers and the Svedburgs over with the chef today. I think they had a nice time and the food was good.
I only have seven more days of school and I can't wait.
Keep working hard on your school work and play hard too. Six weeks is a very short time - do all you can do - you never know when you will have this opportunity again.
Every thing is good here. Logan had two baseball games today. They lost one (5-4) and won the other (22-2). Have a good time, but stay safe. Remember you are in a different country, no place is like home. I love you
