Update

Becasue the school is so poorly run, the court system has booted out date and rescheduled. What a fiasco. We might miss visiting the court

Hey there Jonathan,

Gosh, what a lovely trip you had in London. It sounds like you never stopped! What a great experience...again, I can't wait to see the pics...thanks for sharing it! We'll get more detail when you get back.

Everything here is going well. Right now we are at a stand still on the house. The city of Palos Heights requires us to have a survey done on the footings and walls of the addition. This will take about a week to get drafted and approved. The builder is hoping to be framing the outside by the 9th of June. I hope so too! The fireplace is gone in the family room...it really makes the room look bigger.

Logan is doing well, he is now finished with school too. He did alright this last quarter...a little disappointed... his grades went down a bit...most from A's to B's. Nothing lower than a B. But he did receive the highest grade on effort...so I was glad for that. I haven't cared much for Logan's teacher this year...so I am glad he is done with her. She is kind of a crab!

Logan also tried out for travel baseball this past Sunday. I am not sure if he will make the team...it seems to me that it is being run by the Catholics here in town. And need I say any more...

There in-house team that Steve coaches has been in a slump...lost four games in a row. Sad thing is most games by only a point or two. Steve says he's waiting to surpise everyone in the playoff's...well we'll see. hehe!

Linnea is fine...she leaves for San Antonio June 8th...she can hardly wait. I took her shopping and she got a couple of new shorts outfits and bathing suit. Now we need to pack it...At this point I AM SICK OF PACKING!!!!!!

She is also excited to start drivers ed on the 16th. It will run Mon-Thur from 9-11am for four weeks...that should go by quick. Then, the two of you leave for Southern...she's very excited.

She had a great report card. She received six A's and one B. However, when averaged with her last quarter grades the final grades came out to 4 A's, 2 B's, and one C. In spite of this she still was able to receive Honors with Distinction. Her grade point average for the semester was 4.071. I was happy for her...Huntington seems to be helping.

I have been very tired and pretty cranky too. This packing up the house and constantly having to clean is wearing me down. I believe we will be in Grandma's house by the end of the week...at least that is what I am shooting for. I am hoping we can open the pool that weekend as well. Like I said "hoping"....we will have to see how things work out.

Steve is well...very, very busy at work. He is even lifting a paint brush...so you know he's busy.

Well, keep your mind on the books but your heart at home. We miss you. I really enjoy reading the blogs...it is fun hearing about your once in a lifetime experience...remember to enjoy! Don't sweat the small stuff...as we all know, life is too short!

Love ya,
Wendy
